You may want to delete your account for some reasons one of which may be moving your website to a new domain, and you don’t want a duplicate content on the internet. Or maybe your business is closing down. Whichever is the case here is how to delete WordPress account completely.

Log in to your account. Note that if you have a premium upgrade of either of the following you may need to remove it before proceeding otherwise, you won’t be able to delete your account.
Any of this upgrades should be removed first. Custom Domain, Premium Theme, Domain Mapping, Premium or Business Plan, Or Any other upgrade.

I will advise that you back up your content for safekeeping because once your account is deleted you won’t be able to access it ever again.

So log in to your account the URL should look like this Click on the “My Sites”. You will see the below page

Next, click on “setting”.

In the setting page, go down to the “delete your site permanently” section
Here is how the page looks.

Note that under the “delete your site permanently there is a note that says “Delete all your posts, pages, media, data and give up your site’s address”. Even after you click the delete button you will still be given a final opportunity to back up or have a copy of all your website data. So you will be presented with the below screen to export your site’s content before the final deletion because this action is irretrievable.

If you click the export content button your files, that is, your entire website data will be put in a zipped folder on your computer and then you can have access to it if and when you decide to either open another WordPress account or you decide to upload to another server and domain. If you decide you don’t want to export then scroll down to the delete button. But if you decide to export then click the export to get all your site data before proceeding to the delete button. Make sure you see the account for which you want to delete in the yellow bar. like this

After you click the delete button you will be shown a confirmation screen to confirm your account deletion by retyping your site address into the bar.

You may likely encounter a problem while trying to delete your account. This could only mean one thing that you have an upgrade or a premium theme,a custom domain or other upgrades associated with the account you want to delete.

To remove your upgrade. Click on the “manage upgrades” button of the premium upgrades box that prevented your account from being deleted.

You will be taken to the following screen after you clicked the manage upgrades button.

Next click on the forward arrow to see “manage purchase” in the manage purchase screen scroll down to see all your details including your credit card account the purchase date, amount and of course the button to cancel your upgraded account. Click the “Cancel”. Be notified that purchased products that have exceeded their refund period will remain active until their expiration date.

If you still want to completely cancel all purchases. Then you’ll find a link in your “manage purchases” screen after you click the cancel button. That says “Remove Premium”. You can now click on the link to completely remove your purchases and your account.

Next, you will find another link right below your domain that says “Cancel all private registration”. Click on it to take you back to the “how to delete WordPress account completely”. This is how to intall joomla template,but first we need to download Joomla first
It will take you to a page like above image

Click on the download button to download the latest version of
joomla, you can also click on the “joomla3 button”
to download joomla3. Next you will be taken to a download page that looks
like the below image

click on the download joomla 3.4.5 button to download it
to your computer.
Right click on the joomla zip’s folder you downloaded to your computer and select
extract all.

Next open up your Filezilla or click on filezilla download link, if you don’t already have it.

connect filezilla to your server by typing your cpanel username and password in the appropriate fields.
On the right is your server while on the left is your computer.To upload your
joomla files to your server,create a directory folder in which the files will be
uploaded by right clicking anywhere on your server side then choose new directory
give it a name and then open up the newly created empty folder.Browse on the left to where
you extracted your joomla files then click on one of the files to select it,press ctrl A on windows
command A on mac this will highlight all the files.
Right click and select “upload” to upload the files to your server.

Next you need to create a database in your cpanel for your joomla site/files.

Make sure you save your database name,username and password somewhere as you would need it
to configure and install joomla.
To install joomla on the server,
open up your browser and type in your domain name slash the name of the
folder you uploaded joomla files to.
You will be taken to joomla’s configuration page, here is where you will fill in your username
password database name after which you click on the Install
button to install joomla.

Login to your Hostgator cpanel or any other cpanel they are pretty much the same, click on “fantastico deluxe” or just “fantastico” for another hosting provider.
or better still for a quick installation of WordPress, click on quick install under software and services. on the left find wordpress and click on it. click on the continue button. The next window is where you
will enter your wordpress admin details. Your username and password, you will also be asked if you would install wordpress on your main domain or in a directory.
Enter your domain name in the “install on domain box” or enter a directory name in the “install in a directory” if you want it installed in a directory.
Next, click on the “install WordPress” button and in the next window click on
finish installation” then enter the email where you would like the details of your wordpress installation sent to.

Now, all you need do is to check your email to get your login details ( username, password, the link to your wordpress admin panel click on the link to go to wordpress admin), you can type this in the browser to login to your wordpress admin if you install wordpress on your domain if not type directory/wp-admin

After logging in to your admin panel click on wordpress update to get the latest version of wordpress installed for you. We have just concluded the first part of how to build a wordpress website. Which is the CMS we shall be using to the above website.
